  • The Notilux web platform — used by developers and teams to manage projects and send notifications via the API.
  • The Notilux iOS app — installed on end-user devices to receive push notifications from connected projects.

Web Platform

This section applies to developers, teams, and anyone who creates an account on the Notilux web platform.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and any other information you choose to provide. If you sign up using a third-party service, we may receive basic profile information from that service according to their privacy policies.

API Usage

We collect records of API calls made through your account, including notification payloads, timestamps, delivery status, and device identifiers. This data is used to provide delivery logs, usage statistics, and to operate the service reliably.

Technical Information

We collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and device information when you access the platform.

How We Use Your Information

Data Retention

iOS App

This section applies to end users who install the Notilux iOS app to receive notifications from a developer's project.

Information We Collect

Device Token

When you pair your device with a project, we register an Apple Push Notification service (APNs) token for your device. This token is used solely to deliver notifications to your device on behalf of the project you connected to.

Pairing Identifier

A pairing identifier links your device to a specific project. This identifier is provided by the developer whose project you are connecting to, and is used to route notifications correctly.

Notification Content

The content of notifications (title, body) is determined entirely by the developer sending them. Notilux transmits this content but does not control or inspect it beyond what is necessary for delivery.

What We Do Not Collect

The Notilux iOS app does not collect your name, location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any other personal data beyond what is described above.

Data Retention

Device tokens are retained as long as your device remains paired to a project. You can unpair your device at any time through the app, which removes your device token from our systems.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • With your consent or at your direction
  • With service providers who assist us in operating our services, subject to confidentiality obligations
  • To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from public authorities
  • To protect the rights, privacy, safety, or property of Notilux, our users, or others
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
